Pablito!

This year’s primary robot, Pablito, has a small, square design and readily accepts nearly pinless attachments. Its easy to maneuver, has to medium motors, two light sensors, and ball bearings in the front and back for ease of use.

We tried out quite a few different robot designs and then compared them against our list of what we decided the robot needed to have. You can see all the details of the robot decision choice and design in the attached pdf file that steps you through our choices.

Once we decided to build Pablito, one of our team members put together a full set of CAD drawings, using LeoCAD, so that each team member could build a copy of their robot at home! The LeoCAD drawings and instructions are also available through the pdf file.
